Up for sale are three (x3) seeds of Mundu Mangosteen (Garcinia dulcis).

Mundu mangosteen is a Indonesian and Philippine relative of the famous queen of the fruits, the purple mangosteen. It is a medium tree and produces large amounts of yellow fruit with with a tart, yellow, fragrant and juicy pulp. The fruits have a flavor similar to a lemony apricot. The tree can be a heavy bearer, looking like a Christmas tree covered in yellow ornaments.

The tree is of medium size and very ornamental. The leaves are long, thick and waxy.

Seeds will be shipped straight out of the fruit to ensure maximum freshness.

SEED PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Use a well-draining potting mix (a mix of soil, compost, and sand works well).
• Ensure the soil is moist but not waterlogged.
• Place the seeds 1-2 inches (2.5-5 cm) deep in the soil, with the pointed end facing down.
• Keep the pot in a warm, bright location (70-85°F or 21-29°C is ideal).
• Water regularly to keep the soil moist but avoid overwatering.
• Optional: Cover with plastic wrap or place in a clear plastic bag to maintain humidity.
• Germination typically occurs within 1-3 weeks.
• Once the seedlings are 4-6 inches tall with strong leaves, transplant them into larger pots or directly into the ground.
• Choose a location with good drainage and partial shade, especially for young plants.

Good luck and happy planting!
