Hat Sizing I personally don’t like tight fitting hats, so when I make my hats, I make them to fit without much stretching. This makes them very comfortable to wear, and if for a child, will last as they grow - the hat will then stretch. So the approximate sizes I make to are: 0-6 months Circumference 15” Hat height 5” 6-12 months Circumference 17” Height 5.5” 1-5 years: Circumference 19” Hat height 6.5” 6-12 years: Circumference 20/21” Hat Height 6.5-7” Teen/Small Adult/Lady Circumference 22/23” Hat height 8” Larger Adult/Man Circumference 23/24” Hat height 8-8.5” The hat height is from the top/crown of the head to above the eyebrows. As my hats are made to order, these measurements can be adjusted.

Custom and personalised orders

I am very happy to discuss a Custom order with you. Please message me with your thoughts and I’ll see if I can make your dreams come true! Please note that Custom Orders may take longer for me to make, if it is a completely new design. Custom orders can not be returned.

My designs are usually Machine washable with a gentle 40C programme. Ideally lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry. Please check each listing for further information.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Each order will be beautifully gift wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon at no extra charge, with my compliments. I usually use a sturdy bubble envelope to send orders. Larger items will be sent in a box - to be kinder to the environment, I may reuse boxes, but the item itself will be beautifully wrapped inside. Gift sets will be sent in a gift box.

Physical items: Orders may be cancelled at any time before I dispatch it to you. Custom orders may not be cancelled once I have started making. Digital items: In accordance with Etsy policies, these may not be cancelled once they have been downloaded. If you have purchased a digital item by mistake, please contact me BEFORE downloading it.

Tariffs, Sales Tax and Customs/Import duties

Sales Taxes: Etsy will any collect Sales Tax and remit this to the relevant authorities on your behalf. US Customers Tariffs: Tariffs have been included in my prices you see, so no additional tariffs will be charged to you. Customs and Import Duties: Any customs or import duties are the responsibility of the Buyer. Please check these before ordering. You will then be contacted by the Customs Department in your country to pay any charges before your order enters your country.

All orders are sent with Royal Mail using a Tracked Service (unless you have upgraded to an express courier service). When I dispatch your order, Etsy will email you with your Tracking details - you can then use this to see progress with your shipment. Once I have dropped off your parcel with the Post Office or Courier, delivery is then out of my control and I cannot be held responsible for any delays with the delivery company. In the unlikely event that your parcel does not arrive within the advised timescales, you may be able to claim a refund under Etsy’s Purchase Protection Scheme.
