What rights come with the files I buy?

🎁 Upon purchase, you may use the design for personal projects, gift finished products to friends and family, or sell up to 100 finished pieces locally. The digital files themselves may not be resold, shared, redistributed, or claimed as your own — they remain the intellectual property of the original creator.

Can I sell the finished products on Etsy or other online platforms?

✅ Yes — with an Extended Commercial License, available separately in the shop. This license covers online sales on Etsy or any other platform, as well as local sales, up to 1000 finished pieces per design.

What about mass production exceeding 1000 pieces?

🔒 That may be possible under a separate agreement. Please reach out via message and we'll work something out.

Why do my downloaded SVG files look broken in my software?

💡 Before purchasing, make sure your software fully supports the SVG format. Coreldraw has a known bug that can cause files to display incorrectly — this is a Coreldraw issue, not a file issue. I recommend Inkscape as a free, reliable alternative.

Do I receive a physical item?

📦 No — all products in this shop are digital downloads only. You will receive SVG and PDF vector files immediately after purchase, delivered through Etsy's download system. No physical item will be shipped.

What size are the designs?

📐 All designs are delivered as fully scalable vector files — there is no fixed size. You can scale them up or down to fit any material or laser bed without any loss of quality. The default or recommended size is listed in each individual product description.

Will it work with my laser or software?

🛠️ The files have been tested and used successfully with Glowforge, xTool, LightBurn, and standard CO2 lasers. For diode lasers, you may need to adjust power and speed settings depending on your material. The files are not optimized for Cricut or other blade-cutting machines — they are designed specifically for laser engraving and cutting. Recommended software: Inkscape (free), Affinity Studio (free), LightBurn, or Adobe Illustrator.

Can I use these files if I'm a complete beginner?

✅ Yes — the files are layered and clearly organized, so even if you're new to laser engraving, you won't need to do any prep work beyond setting your machine's parameters. If you run into any issues, just send a message. Help is always available.
