It is extremely normal and quite typical for these stones to be milky white (a characteristic called occlusion) while still showing brilliant blue or rainbow flash. Since white occlusion is SO prevalent, our greatest concern is that our customers receive a stone that offers a lot of FIRE and that the colors are immediately noticeable from direct angles. Never to be confused with being "dull", occlusion is very common, but the fire intensity (which we focus on) is far rarer, and that's what we will always send out.

Moonstone is highly prized not only for its lustrous array of flashy iridescent color, but for its reputed energy and healing properties. It is a stone of strong feminine energy and is also the birthstone for the month of June and the sign of Gemini.

Each moonstone is approximately 7-8mm in size and cut into a triangular shape. The stones are faceted on both sides and each one is flashy, colorful and gorgeous.

The stones are joined to a shimmering flat cable chain that twinkles with every twist and turn. The chain may appear delicate, but it is very strong and highly durable.

The OPTIONAL pearl choker paired with the moonstone necklace consists of a diamond shaped cultured freshwater pearl that measures 11mm in size. This necklace is adjustable from 14-16" and is meant to act as a delicate layer that is situated just above the moonstone necklace.

****Our silver jewelry is made with .925 sterling silver wire, chain and clasps. Nickel free and will never chip, flake, change color or cause skin irritations. Safe to wear every single day. Most of the charms and components are 100% sterling silver as well. Silver loves to be worn and is safe to wear in water but should not come in contact with harsh chemicals. Sterling silver is prone to tarnish over time. There is nothing that will completely prevent tarnishing, but it is easily removed with any silver polishing cloth or cream. Silver being worn continuously will stay bright.

****Our gold jewelry is made with 14k gold filled chain, wire and clasps. The term gold filled means that it is a solid layer of pure gold(14k), bonded to a base metal such as brass, but wears like solid gold. It is not recommended to be worn in water. It is still hypo-allergenic, nickel free and will never chip, flake, change color or cause skin irritations. Some of our designs may incorporate components from a third party that are bronze, or a vermeil style gold plate. This is 40 micro inches of 98.5% pure gold plated over sterling silver with a fine layer of nickel in between and finished with a nano-polymer coating to protect the surface and repel oxidation.
