The pattern TWO-SIDED MOSAIC ZIGZAG has been created using a two-sided overlay mosaic crochet technique which creates the pattern from both sides. I came up with this technique idea back in 2022 and this is my second pattern created using this technique. The first one - NO RIGHT OR WRONG.
Using this pattern, you can create as large a project as you want by working as many repeats as you want in width and/or in height. It’s ideal for the projects where you want both sides to be perfect! The design on both sides is identical.

PATTERN REPEAT: x10+3 sts
GAUGE: 10x10 cm / 4x4” = 20 sts x 20 Rs in two-sided overlay mosaic crochet, unblocked
PATTERN FILE SIZE: 9-11 pages (depends on language)

200 g, 580 m /634 yds
Color 2: Hobbii Everyday Acrylic, color Ecru (02)
100 g, 350 m / 382 yds
100% acrylic
#3 (DK/light)
Note: Tea Time yarn is listed as medium weight yarn. It’s more like DK weight yarn

CROCHET HOOK: 4 mm (G)

For a lap blanket size: width 100 cm (39.4 in) x height 120 cm (47.2 in) you will need about 1385 m (1515 yds) of each color. The given yarn amount does not include a border.

You can use any yarn, colors & appropriate hook size that suits your project and create as large/small project as you wish by adjusting the number of repeats in width and/or in height.
