BLUETOOTH: This radio original vacuum tube circuitry is retained, repaired, and modified to play Bluetooth as well as AM and FM radio. The internal circuit is not gutted. Repeat: the internal electronics have not been gutted and replaced with modern electronics. All modifications are reversible. In Bluetooth mode, plays Bluetooth wirelessly from any iPhone, iPad, Android, Huawei, Google phone, etc over 30 ft. Only through Retro Radio Farm, Bluetooth circuitry is completely internal and integrated with the original AM receiver inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or peripheral devices! Switch from Bluetooth to AM and radio and back to Bluetooth with rocker switch installed on back panel. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! No noise from Bluetooth circuitry!

DESCRIPTION: Solid state transistor radio manufactured by Emerson in late 1970s to early 80s time frame in excellent working and excellent physical condition. Modern style design with black wood cabinet covering and brushed aluminum trim. Comes with previous owner's story written note attached to back in envelope (included!)

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Clear and resonant with excellent selectivity and sensitivity.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory constructed wood cabinet painted black. The wood cabinet is strong and sturdy with no separated seams or peeling veneer. The back left corner shows some minor damage. The front top left corner has been repaired with putty and repainted to match the rest of the cabinet. The controls panel and aluminum trim is in excellent original condition with no dents, dings, rust or major scratches. Function lettering and numbering is not worn off. Grill fabric is original with no rips, no fraying, no seperation along edges. The grill cloth in excellent condition no rips, no stains, no pulls, no separation along the edges.

KNOBS: Factory original matching tuning and and volume knobs are silver chrome win excellent condition with no paint flaking or rub off.

LOGO: Original Emerson print on left top corner of control panel is in excellent condition and not faded.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an additional charge.

CLOCK: No clock.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original factory fiberboard cover is in excellent condition and securely mounted.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom labels.
