First of all, you are in good hands… I have been selling online since 2003. Brizel Buttons 2 was created in 2021 after establishing Brizel Buttons’ mainstream shop in 2020. They are the offspring of Brizel Supplies which originally opened its doors in 2008 selling thousands of button lots there until Brizel Buttons opened. *GLOSSARY of TERMS*

Vtg NOS BUTTONS are older buttons that are Vintage New-Old-Stock. You can expect them to be in good ‘as new’ condition. Brizel Buttons believes that if consumers can find what they need with NOS inventory then we do not need to support the production of new plastic buttons which greatly pollutes our air & environment. In that way, purchasing vintage is more ecological and earth-friendly. Let’s be kind to Planet Earth… it’s the only home we have.

BUTTON SiZiNG… for your reference a Brizel Button Sizing Chart has been uploaded in every listing. Brizel’s buttons are measured using a digital caliper set on METRIC and like a book keeper, I round up (or down) in-between measurements. For example, if a button measures 13.7mm (or 14.4mm) the listing description will report it as a 14mm button and the inch measurement will match that measurement as well. So the difference between the actual button and my listing description measurement *may* have up to a .4mm (1/64”) variance in either direction. That is why I use the word “approx.” and the “≈” symbol in all my listings. These slight discrepancies are normal in the button trade and is most often due to buffing or not buffing buttons in their final production moments. It may also be the difference between buttons produced in different countries.

BUTTON COLORS… I photo by daylight with a camera uploading to an iMac and use two different image making softwares. I work very hard to portray as accurate as possible the colors of the buttons I list for sale. It takes far longer than you may realize. Please take into consideration the following… most computers, devices, lightbulbs have a blue tint to them or sometimes, yellow. This will impact your viewing and the accuracy of the button colors as you look at them. Buttons may be ‘moody’… whilst others may be luminescent or have iridescence… others are glossy and reflect colors around them… matte buttons are most often the easiest to portray but in any case are never never dull. I use a color thesaurus, Encycolopedia, to find fun but relevant names to depict the button colors!

HANDLING CARE…
If your buttons are washable… it’s best to give your buttons a quick wash before applying them to your project.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL… If you have any questions or concerns about a product, please address them *before* making a purchase by contacting me to ensure the buttons will meet your requirements. It’s my pleasure to assist you. In the end, be sure you want what you buy because all sales are final. That’s stated in my Shop Policies and noted in each listing description. Items may not be returned due to a change of mind, or heart, or for reasons that were disclosed within the individual listing descriptions or Brizel Buttons’ shop policies.

Why NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES, NO REFUND POLICY… Selling buttons is enormously time consuming work and my profit margin is less than 30%. I love doing it and I do everything within my power to make sure your shopping experience is awesome. I absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase however I am not a corporation and cannot afford to offer clients a revolving door for merchandise returns… therefore at Brizel Buttons there is a no return, no exchange, no refund policy and all sales are final. If your goods are lost or damaged in transit, please read the insurance paragraph below before contacting me.

Of course, I take responsibility and put right any mistakes that I may make. These are rare but can happen. When a client reaches out in kindness & respect asking me for assistance when either I make or they make a mistake - rightful solutions flow like honey without having to resort to inappropriate feedback or messages. SINGLE RATE SHIPPING… means you can buy as many buttons as you want within your shipping price.

SHIPPING & HANDLING... Everything is enthusiastically packed, with care, with each lot in its own storage bag. Your buttons are then wrapped & shipped out in a padded mailer with a personalized gift and a business card. It travels from Selma, Oregon to you via Ground Advantage which includes Tracking and up to $100 insurance on goods. As soon as your order gets dropped off at USPS, I will send you an Etsy Shipping Notification with that Tracking number which you can also find under your Etsy Account in the Purchases section.

USPS DROP OFF DATE… generally speaking, I drop off orders at USPS two to four times a week. TRANSiT TiME… Once shipped out, I have no control how long it takes the post office to deliver your packet. Estimated delivery dates are generated both by Etsy and USPS so those should give you an idea of what you can expect.

INSURANCE… USPS’ Ground Advantage service includes insurance up to $100 on goods with the following conditions: If your packet gets lost, after 15 days the post office will accept the filing of a loss claim and eventually will reimburse the cost of your product as well as the postage. I will file that claim on your behalf and either ship out replacement buttons as available and if not, issue you a full refund. If your buttons are damaged in transit, you the buyer, will need to take photographs and submit your claim directly to the post office. In this case scenario, the post office will only reimburse you for the goods, not the postage. Regretebly, Brizel Buttons cannot offer insurance beyond what the post office offers with the Ground Advantage postal service.
