These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Etsy shop "Handmade Crochet by Av" operated by Alvita Adomaityte.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products and Services
The shop offers:
- Handmade crocheted items;
- Digital crochet patterns; and
- Custom or personalized crochet items where available.
Product descriptions, photographs, and measurements are provided as accurately as possible. Due to the handmade nature of physical products, slight variations in appearance, size, color, and finish may occur.

3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the Etsy shop constitutes an invitation for customers to submit an order. A binding contract is concluded when Etsy confirms the order and payment has been successfully processed.
A binding contract is concluded when the customer completes the checkout process and the order is accepted through Etsy's ordering system.

4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in the applicable currency shown by Etsy at the time of purchase.

7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All crochet patterns, photographs, product descriptions, designs, and other content provided through this shop remain the intellectual property of Handmade Crochet by Av unless otherwise stated.
Digital crochet patterns are provided for personal use only.
Customers may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, copy, reproduce, or publish the pattern in whole or in part;
- Claim the pattern as their own work;
- Distribute the pattern in digital or printed form.
Finished items made from purchased patterns may be sold on a small-scale basis, provided that credit is given to Handmade Crochet by Av as the pattern designer.

8. Warranty and Liability
Customers retain all statutory warranty rights provided under applicable law.
The seller shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or consequential damages except where liability is mandatory under applicable law.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

1. DIGITAL ITEMS

1.1 Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are generally not accepted once the files have been downloaded or accessed.
By purchasing and downloading a digital item, the customer expressly agrees that access to the digital content begins immediately and acknowledges that the statutory right of withdrawal expires once the download or access to the digital content has begun.
As a result, refunds, returns, and cancellations are generally not available for digital item purchases.

1.2 Duplicate Purchases
If a customer accidentally purchases the same digital item more than once, a refund for the duplicate purchase may be granted provided that:
- The customer contacts us within 14 days of the purchase date; and
- The duplicate purchase can be verified.
- Requests made after the 14-day withdrawal period for duplicate digital purchases are not eligible for a monetary refund. Instead, the customer may choose another digital item from our shop of equal value, which will be provided free of charge.

2. PHYSICAL ITEMS

2.1 Right of Withdrawal
Customers have the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase of non-customized physical items within 14 days of receiving their order.
To exercise this right, customers must notify us of their decision to withdraw within 14 days of delivery.
The item must then be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of the withdrawal.

2.2 Condition of Returned Items
Customers may inspect the item as they would in a retail store. However, they are responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.
For a smooth return process, customers may be asked to provide clear photographs showing the condition of the item before return.
Items that have been visibly used, worn, washed, damaged after delivery, altered, or otherwise handled beyond what is necessary for inspection may be subject to a reduction in the refund amount or may not qualify for a full refund, where permitted by law.

2.3 Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as the customer bears the risk of loss or damage during the return shipment until the item is received.

2.4 Refunds
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until the customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.
Once the return has been approved, reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Any refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

If an item arrives damaged due to shipping transit, the customer should contact us within 14 days of delivery.

If the damage is confirmed to have occurred during transit or if the item is found to be defective, an appropriate remedy will be offered, such as a replacement, repair, or refund, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
This does not affect the customer's statutory rights in relation to defective goods.

2.6 Custom and Personalized Items
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the customer's specifications or are clearly personalized.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Custom-made crochet items;
- Personalized items;

Such items cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered.
