Tell me about shipping

Items are sent in 1-3 business day unless otherwise stated in our store announcement. Often it´ll go the same or next business day. Please contact us if you are in rush to receive your item. We normally ship items out in the (late) afternoon. We use Canada Post and Chitchats as our shipping partners. Shipping will be combined if possible and we use recycled packaging materials. You can always ask me for a shipping quote, and I refund any overages on combined orders automatically. Do be aware that your parcel may incur customs fees, which you will be responsible for.

What is my item is damaged or gets lost in the post?

Please contact me with a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging, or send me a message if the item fails to arrive within 25 working days (6 weeks if overseas). Please check with customs - and your room mates or neighbours - if they are holding your parcel! Should an item return because it was unclaimed or refused at the post office / customs, the buyer will be responsible for postage fees to have the item re-sent. No refunds will be due. Do bear in mind that all my items have a past and will normally show signs of wear. Take care in using them as they may not stand up to rough handling.

What if I change my mind?

To Cancel: Simply contact me before the item ships to cancel your order. You´ll receive a full refund, no questions asked! Bear in mind that all orders normally ship the same or the next business day. To Return: We do not take returns, but will always try to make things right if they were our mistake. Contact us if you have any issues with your order and if approved for the return, send the item back to us within 14 days.

Can I reserve an item, or pay in installments?

Yes, Items can be reserved for a maximum of 2 working days. Payments in instalments are possible and I can set this up for items over 100 CAD. Feel free to ask me how this works!

Will I receive the item pictured?

Yes! I take photographs of all items individually, and will not re-use old photos. My photographs are an important part of the item description so please have a good look at them to judge the items condition. Ask for additional images should you require them and I'll get them to you as soon as I can. Beware that colours may be seen differently depending on screen settings. I always describe all items, including their flaws, to the best of my ability. However, I am only human and it is possible for me to miss something. Please ask questions before purchasing if you have any concerns!

Will my item come from a smoke-free and pet-free environment?

Neither of us smoke, but we have a dog; a 3 legged beagle called Titus. His hair travels on me just as much as on him and they may make their way into your parcel! Please be aware of this if you have (severe) allergies. All of my items have had previous homes where there may have been smokers / cats / dogs / birds etc. If any of this is clearly noticeable on an item, it will be part of the item's condition description.

Tariff Information for US customers

Due to the recent and on-going changes in US tariffs we will be working hard to go over listings 1 by 1 to make sure they can be shipped to you. Most item pricing shown to US customers will have tariff fees included, which I will remit on your behalf. I can only do this through the Zonos app connected to Canada Post so whenever they go on strike again - I will find a workaround with you. Should you consider a purchase that does not currently show shipping to the USA, feel free to contact us to update it with priority.

Materials: plastic

A sweet vintage picnic set for 6 in pastel Blue, Pink, Green, Yellow, Purple and Grey, made in Hong Kong ca 1980s. Includes 6 dinner plates, 6 cups, 6 knives, forks and spoons. Great for kids parties, camping trips or Barbeques. The set is complete with marks of age and use, including some discoloration around little dips and dents in the making molds. The plastic is on the thinner / softer side and I would not recommend using the cups for hot drinks. The plates have some scratches on them, especially the purple plate. The set comes in a clear plastic carrying bag.
