Made for handmade jewelry makers, this silicone mold helps shape beads, pendants, and earrings with a clean, repeatable form. This bead mold silicone is designed with a small hole guide and an opaque finish, giving you a flexible handmade mold set that is made to order for your creative work.

• Opaque silicone option with a flexible, long-lasting feel
• Small hole guide creates a dent to help you drill through the bead
• Suitable for use with urethane, epoxy, polyester resins, wax, soap, gypsum/concrete, low melt alloys/metals, and polymer clays
• Instructions are sent with purchase in PDF format
• Sizing details are shown in the listing pictures in millimeters

Please read the expanded product listing below for sizing information or scroll through the listing pictures to find the calliper measurement in millimeters. This flat facetted 8 design is listed with difficulty level noted as intermediate, and it is intended for makers who are comfortable opening the bead hole with a small drill after casting. If you are considering different finishes, the listing also explains the opaque versus clear silicone options, including the note that the clear option can be used with UV resin.

• All molds are made to order from scratch
• Please allow 2–3 weeks for fabrication, although it can often be done in just 7 days
• The physical lifespan depends on mold care, casting material, heat exposure, and abrasive materials
• Opaque silicone is not for use with UV resin
• The clear option is described as food safe and can be used with UV resin

This resin bead casting mold is made from the same handmade molds used to create one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces in the shop. The listing notes that heat from ovens or flames can decrease lifespan, and that abrasive materials such as concrete can erode the mold detail over time. If you want to finish your pieces with extra shine or pair them with matching supplies, the shop also mentions a polishing kit and jewelry findings in the supplies and findings sections.

If you are comparing materials, there are two silicone options available: opaque and clear. The opaque version is economical, flexible, long lasting, and not compatible with UV resin. The clear version is made with a platinum base, is food safe, and lets you see into the mold while you adjust your casts. The physical lifespan and number of casts depend on mold care, the casting material used, heat exposure, and whether the material is abrasive. Heat from ovens or flames can reduce lifespan, and high heat producing resins may also shorten use, while abrasive materials such as concrete can erode fine detail over time. The silicone can be used at temperatures from -65°F to 400°F (-19°C to 205°C), and the clear option may eventually cloud with extended heat exposure while still leaving casts shiny.

This is by far one of my favorite shops. Mandy is just wonderful and is very accommodating to my needs. I have purchased many molds and some custom. They always turn out amazing. You can't go wrong with purchasing an item from this amazing shop.
