15K Gold French Jet Brooch 1880 Lily of the Valley Victorian Seed Pearls

Antique 15K gold French jet (black glass) brooch circa 1870 1880. This Victorian 2-7/8" x 3/4" black mourning brooch has a wonderful ornate lily of the valley yellow gold and genuine seed pearls array set to the jet. Lily of the valley is the flower for those born in the month of May, so a lovely gift idea for your favourite May person! This lovely brooch has a gold c-clasp style pin and backing plate also in 15 K gold. It has a shepherd's hook for the suspension of an accessory and it has the name P.G. GLASS engraved on the gold back setting. It is typically unmarked, but has been tested and gold content has been confirmed.

This is in mostly excellent condition with no cracks, repairs or damage other than some tiny chips.

Expedited tracked parcel to the U.S. is $29.00 and expedited parcel within Canada starts at $29.00 (tracking and loss insurance is included). Rates in Canada vary & we have to set a rate. Postage that costs our shop less will receive refunds & more remote locations in Canada may require additional shipping.
