Victorian Courting Couple Brooch Vintage Gold Tone & Porcelain Fragonard Rococo Pin

This is a lovely Vintage porcelain, Fragonard, Victorian style porcelain and gold tone metal brooch featuring a reproduction painting of a courting couple!

The original painting was done by the famous French 1700's Rococo Art Era artist Jean-Honore Fragonard around the time of King Louis XV. It even depicts the original Fragonard signature on the bottom below the man's feet. In my research I found that many of these copies were made anywhere from the 1910's to the 1960's so this pin could possibly be an antique but I am not positive of the date it was made. Some were made in Germany prior to World War II and are 75-100 years old but this one is not stamped.

This is in very good Vintage condition and has a working rolling C-clasp and does not seem to show any real signs of wear. This one has an extra gold tone detailed filigree surrounding it that some do not have. This pin would be great for collectors, Fragonard and Rococo Art lovers, Victorian collectors or lovers, or anyone that loves romantic jewelry! It would make a nice Engagement, Wedding, Birthday gift, or also a lovely romantic Christmas gift!
