Our one-of-a-kind WAVE BOWLS are made to order, each modelled after what you see in the photos but with their own nuances. Hand forged out of mild steel by Ruben Irons, Artist Blacksmith and finished with raw beeswax in the back woods of Nova Scotia, Canada. Unique marks of character speak to both the ancient craft of blacksmithing and each particular piece of metal.

This listing is for a WAVE BOWL with or without personalization.

With Personalization:
Have us stamp initials, a date or a message into the steel with 3/16" tall capital letters and numbers. Under "Number of Characters", select the option that suits your text ("Up to 10 characters", "11 to 20 characters", etc). If you'd like a message longer than 70 characters contact us for a total and we can set up a listing just for you. The text will be centered on the longest edge, stamped into the inside of the bowl as seen in photos, unless you specify another desired location. Please include your desired text in the personalization box above.

Without Personalization:
Simple select "no personalization" under the Number of Characters.

The bowl sits approximately 5" tall at its highest point, measuring up to about 9" across. The flattened bottom is roughly 3" in diameter, allowing for a stable base and a level spot for a pillar candle if you choose (there is a 3" beeswax pillar depicted in one of the photos, candle and other items not included).

Let this bowl speak for itself as a sculptural piece on its own, showcase a cherished object within or nest a candle in the center. This bowl is solid (weighing in at over 4 lbs) and will stand strong for generation after generation as an heirloom piece.

Not food safe. To preserve beeswax finish, avoid moisture.

All of our pieces are finished with natural Nova Scotia beeswax. To preserve this finish you should avoid all moisture. Pieces can be dusted or cleaned with a dry cloth. If, over time there is exposure to moisture, your piece may begin to patina. If this change is undesirable, you can use steel wool to dust off the rust and then reapply beeswax rubbing it into the exposed steel.
