MY PROCESS:
I made this pendant using the same techniques that silver smiths have used for centuries. It was designed and custom made for this gorgeous jasper gemstone. I cut, soldered, textured, forged and polished the raw materials to create this one of a kind artisan pendant. It has a satin brushed finish and is signed by me on the back. That's what I love about handmade!

GEMSTONE:
Jasper is considered a chalcedony, which is in the quartz group. The name is from the Greek and means 'spotted stone'. Deposits are found all over the world, in many different colors and varieties. This gemstone has a mixture of many different colors. Red-browns, tans, and dark grays seem to be predominant. But if you look closely, you will find other colors as well.
