Highlights

This is a bunny print from my original painting of a vintage toy. It is part of a series of called the Ebay Animal Headshots (story below if you are curious). The portrait measures 5x5" and would make a sweet addition to a kids room or nursery. It would also make a unique baby shower or easter gift, as well as whimsical wall art for any animal lover or collector of vintage toys.

The artwork will be printed on acid-free, museum-quality exhibition paper (matt or pearl) using Epson archival inks for color permanence. Prints may be purchased with the following mounting/framing options. (All prices include shipping.)

1: PRINT ON ARCHIVAL EXHIBITION PAPER

The print will be signed on the back and shipped in a protective cellophane sleeve and a sturdy cardboard mailer.



2: PRINT MOUNTED ON A WOOD PANEL

The print will be mounted on a wood panel that will be signed on the back. The panel comes complete with a sawtooth hanger so it is ready to go on the wall. Wood panels can also stand on a shelf or tabletop.


The Story Behind the Series:
While feeding my addiction to vintage toys, I came across some curious photos on Ebay. A large collection of antique (many Steiff) animals was for sale and, instead of being pictured on velvet cushions or miniature rocking chairs, the toys were represented with stark headshots. Most of the animals seemed to be looking longingly for a future home. Some looked like they might have done some time behind bars! Whether it was because of, or in spite of, the completely impersonal presentation, each animal in the lineup had a distinct tale to tell. And so this painting series was begun. This piece is titled Bernard.
