Gift wrapping and packaging

I wrap all most* orders in coloured tissue paper and insert a thank you note from myself, along with a business card. Invoices are never included as I know many of my orders are gifts. If you would like your item gift wrapped (which includes wrapping in coloured tissue paper, adding a matching label and decorating with stickers and ribbons) please state so during checkout and £2 will be added to your total. *Items such as cards, books, craft kits and bookmarks are not wrapped with tissue paper as standard unless you choose gift wrap on checkout.

All of my 100% silk scarves can be ironed on a low-medium heat or steamed. Certain scarves with high amount of detail may need to be ironed under a sheet or towel to prevent the gutta (wax) sticking to the iron or they can simply be ironed on the non-wax side only. Do not worry the wax is set and will not run or bleed! To spot clean your scarf dab the stained area on both sides with a cloth and cold water, do not rub the silk. If the stain persists you can hand wash with cold water and a mild detergent or natural soap. Roll in a towel to absorb the excess water then leave your scarf to dry flat or hanging from a coat hanger before ironing.

When you are placing an order an estimated delivery time will be given to you during checkout. All items are sent using Royal Mail first class or International Tracked postage. Please let me know if you need your item by a certain date and I iwll do my best to meet your needs. If you are worried that your item hasn't arrived please allow a few extra working days as sometimes items can get delayed in transit.

Packaging:
All scarves are tied with a ribbon and tag, and wrapped in tissue paper, then sent in a letterbox sixed box. If you choose 'gift wrapping' during checkout your scarf will be wrapped extra nicely with ribbon, hessian string, stickers, washi tape and a handwritten calligraphy tag with your chosen words on it.

About the artist:
I am a self-taught artist from Wiltshire and have specialised in the delicate art of silk painting since 2014, beginning my practise at just 17 years old. My work has gained national and international recognition: I have won multiple local and national awards, sold artwork to collectors in over 25 countries, appeared on Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, and seen my silk scarves featured in episodes of Emmerdale and The Walking Dead. I also create large-scale silk flags for events and festivals.

My practice explores the complexities of mental health, drawing on my lived experience of recovery from anorexia and ongoing battles with depression. Through expressive textile art, I seek to spark meaningful conversations around mental health while creating uplifting, colourful works that bring light and joy into any space. Alongside original paintings, I offer prints of my work as well as cards, coasters and tote bags. My bestsellers are my vibrant silk scarves, which can be fully customized to suit your needs.
