This gorgeous zig zag pattern crocheted dress dates from the 1970's. Pattern has instructions for both short and long dress.
Purchase includes an extra PDF with additional crochet information.

I rescued this pattern from a tatty old magazine ~ original pattern was yellowing and discoloured, but still very usable and easy to read. Seemed a shame to put it in the recycle bin!

I have reformatted this pattern, the size can be adjusted in adobe.

To fit bust sizes: 32, 34, 36, 38 and 40 inches.
Long dress, length from shoulder: 53.5, 54, 54.25, 55 and 55.25 inches.
Short dress, length from shoulder: 36.5, 37, 37.5, 38 and 38.5 inches.

Recommended yarn: double knitting (DK).

For sizes 32, 36 and 40 use crochet hooks: 3.5mm, 4mm and 4.5mm, plus one button and 4 press studs.
For sizes: 34 and 38 use crochet hooks: 4mm, 4.5mm and 5mm, plus one button and 4 press studs.
