OUR STORY

When Craig and Moreia wanted to track their many travels on a push pin travel map they couldn’t find the perfect one. So they created their own! They took their digital design and studio art skills and obsessed over every detail of this push pin map. They rejected boring, standard fonts and flat, dull colors. They wanted class, but something a bit playful. They found happiness in simplicity- allowing the geographical beauty to simply be. Gina works with her brother and sister-in-law to manage the shop and ship out orders. This family trio makes up Map Republic!

We don't currently offer personalizations, but there's another Etsy merchant that makes beautiful brass name plates. I recommend getting the adhesive option and placing it directly on the frame. You could also buy a label holder and write or print text on a nice piece of card stock. Just google "label holder" for options.

Honestly - it's not easy to mount your own map on cork or foam board. We do it for a reason! Took us awhile to perfect it ... but if that's your preference, we recommend getting adhesive 3/16" foam board from your local art store. There are also some frame shops that take care of it for you. Lastly, you could also use a spray adhesive.

Note: the "map poster" is less expensive because it's only the map printed on thick matte paper. We also offer maps mounted on foam board and framed.
