This Whitney skirt is made from a variety of upcycled sweaters and is a little whimsy, playful and cozy.
Dress it up or dress it down, either way, you are sure to add some authentic charm to your outfit with this 8-panel sweater skirt. Whether you are in the office, running errands, or even keeping house, this skirt is a great GO TO skirt for any occasion.
If you want the length of the skirt to be just above the knee or mid-thigh, the pattern is adaptable.
You can make it with upcycled wool, cotton, or mixed blend sweaters. The comfortable, fold-down yoga waistband can be made using upcycled knit tops or skirts that have a lot of stretch to them.
This skirt is super comfy and easy to sew. No zippers or elastic casings to make.
If you’re feeling a little whimsy, flip the waistband over and let the seams show.
This is an easy-to-make skirt that even a beginner seamstress can handle.
Seven sizes included in the pattern tutorial. Size 2-18.
