Each product includes its own size chart – we use our own sizing system, not international standards. To choose the right size: Select the size based on your widest measurement (Chest for dresses and tunics, hips for pants) You may also provide your full measurements, and we will tailor the garment accordingly. If measurements are not provided, the garment will be made to the maximum measurements of the selected size. If you are unsure about how to measure yourself, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing your order – we are happy to help.

Each product includes care instructions. Following them helps keep your garment in the best possible condition. Damage caused by improper care is not eligible for return or exchange.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Item "marked as a gift": All products are packed carefully to avoid damage in transport. Due to customs law we need to add all needed documents like invoices, value declarations, and packing slips. There is not possible to send the package as a gift without these documents (to avoid customs duties). All items are packed as standard in paper, boxes, foil or envelopes, depending on the quantity and size of the order.

Wholesale availability

We work according to the standard scheme, as well as with all orders, regardless of the quantity. We do not offer big discounts on many items. We do not change the production time to a shorter one. Moreover, the production time may be longer. All our items come with tags from our workshop and are not subject to removal.

Height & standard lengths

Women: Garments are made to the height provided by the client. If no height is specified, the standard height is 168 cm. Women taller than 175 cm may require an additional fee for extra material. Men: Upper garments have a standard length regardless of height. Trousers are sewn for a standard height of 175–180 cm. Men taller than 185 cm should contact us if additional length is required. Items made for non-standard heights (below 168 cm or above 170 cm) are considered custom and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Plus size & custom sizing

We do accept plus-size and custom orders, which are discussed individually to ensure proper fit and comfort. Due to additional work and materials: -Plus-size items may require an extra charge, counted individually -Discounts may not apply -Such orders are not eligible for return or exchange If something is unclear, we will always contact you before starting production.

Custom and personalised orders

Custom and personalised items are made especially for you. Production time depends on the complexity of the order and may take several weeks. We do not copy designs from other workshops and reserve the right to refuse such requests.

MORGAINE CHEMISE is our natural linen dress inspired by Medieval stories of Morgaine le Fay — Celtic priestess and sorcerer from Arthurian legend. Perfect for Renaissance fairs, historical reenactments, LARP, cosplay.

The dress is sewn according to the early medieval historical dress from Pskov, which was characterized by a pleated neckline, as well as according to the "Chemise" underdresses, which were used for Renaissance stylizations. Thanks to this, the dress expands in the waist area with the help of two triangular gores (one on each side), does not tighten and allows free movement. The neckline can be either tightened for a modest look or slightly opened with a linen cord in the color of the dress. The sleeve of the dress has been redesigned to a more modern Raglan type, which does not create unnecessary folds in the armpits and upper arm, but fits along the arm. Since this is an underdress, its sleeves are longer.

Typically, such a dress is worn with corsets, corset belts, bodice and other top elements. The dress can also be used as a bottom layer and have a skirt on top, but in this case we recommend wearing a small petticoat.

The offer includes linen dress only! Corset belt and other items don't come with dress and can be ordered in our store.

Oh my gosh, I Love this dress! It is quite simple but the drawstring neckline gives just the right detail.. and the 'Maroon' colour is really more like a deep gorgeous red - amazing.. I wore it all day today around the house and declared my self the queen of the realm (& no one disagreed!.. haha)

I am so impressed with her work! I ordered this is natural melange and it's so comfortable. The belt is cute for 'playing dress up', but I love the chemise most on it's own. Even though I can and do sew, I far prefer her items to the ones I make, so I am going to be ordering many more items from this store in the coming months. Shipping to USA (during Xmas season and covid) for handmade items was within 10 days- so fast! Catherine is an incredible artist and her items will last for years. This style is great for large busted women (like me) and has no underarm gussets. It's incredibly flattering and the linen is so nice. Because of the drawstring neckline, it is super comfortable and easy to wear as lounge/nightwear in the house.
