Queen Bee Pillow rug hooking pattern is printed on high quality unbleached primitive linen, and its finished size is a 12 1/2" circle with added prodded fringe. This moppy headed flower pillow pattern comes with full color photos as well as hooking hints, color suggestions and prodding and pillow finish instructions. The Prodding Tool used in the fringe is not included in this listing, but is available in the TOOLS section of this shop.

This small design is a flower head with the Queen Bee herself in the center, warming herself in the sun. The prodded fringe becomes flower petals. I have hooked my flower in pinks to contrast with the gold and brown colors in the bee, but I can imagine many other color combinations to personalize the design to your favorite colors and flowers such as a sunflower.

The design is hooked in a 8 cut (1/4" wide strips of wool fabric), but would also be good in multi cuts. Such a fun piece to hook and prod! Great for all levels of hooking with some basic sewing skills for finishing. Make one for you -- you deserve it!
