Fun housewarming gift idea: a pair of dragonfruit kitchen potholders, ideal for a garden party gift, a hostess gift or just for yourself....

I've handmade this round potholders with a white cotton base, an inside of cotton batting and to finish a layer of bright pink cotton towel. This mix of layers is excellent to keep you from getting burned.
I've hand stamped the black seeds of the dragon fruit with a special fabric ink, so they won't fade in time.
The edges of the potholders are finished with a bright pink bias tape.

The potholders can be made with a 11mm. diameter [0.43”] metal ring to be able to hang them. This can be added to this potholders if you wish so, just ad it as an option before completing your purchase. The metal ring will transport heat from hot dishes to the surface, I advise to use them as potholders only and not as trivets. Always be careful when handling hot dishes......!
