Why don't your kits have instructions?

We sell kits and instructions separately in order to best meet the needs of most of our customers. Our instructions tend to be multi-page, full-color instructions and are best viewed digitally, where you can zoom in on the photos. Some customers only need the tutorial, as they purchase jump rings in bulk elsewhere. Additionally, some customers already know how to make a certain weave and only need materials. This way, each chainmailler can mix-n-match to purchase exactly what is needed.

Dragonscale Bracelet

Ah, the amazingly tactile and flexible dragonscale weave! This weave is actually two layers of European 4-in-1, in which the small rings fit exactly inside the large rings. This can be a difficult weave to get started, but our instructions are detailed enough to help you conquer this weave once and for all! We highly recommend using colored rings for the small rings; not only does it make the piece easier to learn, but the resulting bracelet will have a cool, iridescent look to it!

2 full-color, high resolution print-quality pages are included, detailing each and every step with clear, descriptive text and excellent photos. Plus you'll receive a cover image with ring sizes and ring counts for multiple sizes as well as a troubleshooting page.

WEAVING TIP: Once you've gotten to step 9, lay out a new "queue" of rings (as shown just before step 5. Then look at the "Weave in a Nutshell" section to use up your queue of rings. Once you've gone through the queue, set up a new one, and repeat. That will help you know where you are if you need to step away form your worktable for a moment.
