What to know

St Cyprian Holy Oil.

St. Cyprian the Mage, the patron saint of necromancers, witches, and sorcerers, who lived in the third century. The preserved arm of the ancient magician, which rests in Zlătari Church, is believed by many to have the power to lift curses and spells when touched.

The church itself, a Romanian historic monument known as “a church of miracles” due to the alleged powers of St. Cyprian’s arm, got its name from the Roma goldsmiths, or “zlătari,” who lived in the neighborhood and built the original wooden church in the 17th century.

I visit a lot of churches & can feel when there is holy spiritual presence in a church. Some are just dry hollow places & others are filled with spiritual power. Zlatari is one of those churches. I was so excited to visit this church & it didn't disappoint.


I retrieved these oils while in his special church in Bucharest, Romania this year. Zlătari Church houses his relics and you're able to go make your special prayers over them. While you used to be able to touch his arm, they've put a little glass over the spot now.

"Saint Cyprian of Antioch, I beseech you that those bound by evil spirits and wicked sorceries be unbound. I beseech you to shatter all bewitchments and oppressions.
