I haven’t sewn clothes in years, so this seemed like the perfect starter pattern. I ordered the paper pattern (I didn’t want to fuss with printing a PDF) . I followed the YouTube video. It was fantastic. Easy to follow. My suggestion would be that the video should use a printed fabric so that it would be easier to see the front and backside of the fabric. It took me about 4 hours from start to finish. With more practice, I’m sure I could do it much faster. The dress fits great and looks really good. The design is versatile enough to try in different fabrics. I am a size 16/18 US- 46/48 EU so the size 5XL fit best.
