Highlights

This is a digital pattern only, NOT the finished product. This adorable crochet pumpkin cat hat is perfect for the fall season. It's great for using up scrap yarn and works up relatively quickly. Not to mention, it's the cutest accessory for your pet (or a gift for someone else's) on Thanksgiving or Halloween.

The Pattern:
This crochet pattern is a printable PDF file written in US terms in English and includes:
-materials list, abbreviation chart, special stitch to create pumpkin ridges
-written pattern with stitch counts after each round
-pictures for the earholes, leaves, straps, and finishing section
-pattern is sized for an adult cat, and there are helpful notes for adjusting the size to custom fit your cat

You must have basic knowledge of crochet stitches, know how to change colors, and know how to read a pattern to make this. You must know how to do: a magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and increase.

Materials:
-Category 4 orange yarn
-Small amount of category 4 green and brown yarn
-4 mm crochet hook
-Scissors
-Yarn needle
-Pins to keep leaves in place while sewing (optional)

Very fun pattern, fairly simple but you do need to know how to do a front post double crochet. My sister's cat was uninterested in posing for a photo in it but my dog was willing to.
