The rice heating pads are made with rice or rice and flaxseed. They can not get wet or they become very hard. You can lightly spot wash the heating pad but be careful not to get the fabric too wet.

How to get a moist heat

You can help add life to the heating pad and have a warm moist heat by heating your rice heating pad with a small bowl of water next to the heating pad while in the microwave. The water helps add moisture back into the rice and flaxseed which also helps the rice stay warm longer.

This a beautiful holiday scrap quilt that has been machine quilted by me. It is a Christmas blanket that will be sure to be loved and handed down for generations. The front of the quilt is a selection of various Christmas fabrics. The back is a neutral color that will fit in any room. The binding is green and matches one of the scrap fabrics. It has a warm cotton batting that when washed will give the quilt an old time quilt look. I just love the way the quilt looks after it is washed. The quilt has not been washed yet but it is machine washable and dryer safe.

This quilt should last for years even with lots of washings. It is heavily quilted to give it a unique look but makes it durable.

This Christmas throw measure 48” x 65”. It is the perfect size to wrap yourself up in on a cold winters night.
