Produced by W. Adams & Sons, Staffordshire, England, circa 1900, and marked Crown Semi Porcelain. This pattern reflects the enduring popularity of Japanese Imari decoration interpreted through English transferware production during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.

Complete services with matching tureens are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly those retaining their original decorative impact.
