Vintage

From the 1930s

A pair of late 1930s/early 1940s chambray overalls with buttons on the back waist and hips. They have straps that button in the front. The fabric is a light blue cotton chambray. They have a label that reads, "Betty Brooks, California made"

Note: the color in the first few photos looks a bit more washed out than the overalls are in person -- color is most accurate in last two close-up photos.

Size: xs to small

Bust: 35" at max

Waist: 29" (will drape on smaller)

Hip: 45" (will drape on smaller)

Length: 50" (there's approximately another inch in the hem, but these are best for someone who is shorter in height)

Torso length: 31"

Condition: Very good. Wear commensurate with casualwear nature of garment. Some faint marks and fade spots that don't jump out (overalls have been cleaned). A few chips to the buttons. Straps were taken up, and I let them back out, and there are remaining stitching marks. Also, straps look like they might be slightly uneven, but if so, this would be easily remedied by adjusting a button. Overalls don't have any holes or thinning.
