Bought this for a LARP costume, and I quite like it. The vendor reached out to request measurements after I bought it, and it fits well. I'm not a leather expert, but the leather looks good, is relatively soft/comfortable, and seems tough enough. It's a bit awkward to put on and take off because it's laced, but no more than any other vest like this, it just needs to be unlaced a bit before putting it on.

I ordered the brown leather vest with matching bracers. When they came in the mail, I was very pleased to see that it is in fact 100% genuine leather, and it fits and feels as described. The shipping did take longer than I expected, but it was well worth the wait.
