French 18K gold Victorian Brooch - antique floral Art Nouveau pin - *US Tariffs Included in price*

We are happy to introduce you to this work of art from the Napoleon III period during the late 19th century, also known as the late Victorian period. This floral themed collar brooch is crafted 18 Karat solid gold and features stunning floral shaped decoration and two elegant little pearls. The boarder is a raised, hollow, textured boarder with little crosses on them, typical for jewels made during this period in France. The many small details show how patient they have been in making such a beautiful jewel, purely handmade which still blows our minds.

The brooch is functioning and in good condition considering its age. This antique brooch is equipped with a C closure and a longer pin, typical of late nineteenth century, since clothing was fabricated in thicker materials. This light stunning brooch is hallmarked with a French eagle head and makers mark.

We love this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau brooch crafted during the late Napoleon III era in Europe. We love the way the artist united the elegant flowing natural forms with a bigger contours giving it a strong and magical look. We love its high and rich carat, the colour tones and of course its wonderful design.
