FABRIC SUGGESTIONS

Medium-weight fabrics with some structure work best, including wool, wool blends, tweed, felted wool, cotton canvas, heavy linen, and corduroy.

Cotton, lightweight canvas, sherpa, and similar fabrics can be used for the lining. Depending on the weight and structure of the exterior fabric, interfacing may be recommended.

A contrasting or printed lining is a lovely way to emphasize the curved opening and make the finished hat uniquely yours.
