What is your jewelry made from?

All Hidden Depths pieces are handcrafted in solid 925 sterling silver. Some designs are finished in gold vermeil using a thick 2.5 micron layer of 18k gold over sterling silver. We use oxidized finishes on many of our silver pieces to bring out the texture, depth, and small details of the design.

Are your pieces handmade?

Yes. Our jewelry is produced in small batches using traditional lost-wax casting techniques. Many designs begin as hand-carved wax models before being cast in solid sterling silver, finished, oxidized, polished, and inspected individually. Because of this process, very small variations in texture or finishing can occur from piece to piece.

How quickly will my order ship and how long does delivery take?

In-stock orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 business days using FedEx, DHL, or SkyNet International Express and include tracking. Estimated delivery times are: USA & Canada: 3–5 business days UK & Europe: 5–8 business days Australia & Rest of World: 5–10 business days

How should I care for my jewelry?

A few simple habits will help keep your piece looking its best: Wear it often — the natural oils from your skin can help slow tarnishing on sterling silver. Avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes, cleaning products, and prolonged exposure to chlorine or salt water. Put your jewelry on last when getting ready. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time. Gently polish it with a soft jewelry cloth to restore its shine. Store your jewelry somewhere dry when not in use, such as a pouch, jewelry box, or sealed bag. For gold vermeil pieces, we recommend being a little more careful with water, friction, and chemicals to help preserve the gold finish.

Medieval Marginalia Silver Ring
This ring is inspired by medieval marginalia: the strange, playful drawings monks used to sneak into the margins of illuminated manuscripts. Not the holy scenes, but the weird stuff around them: rabbits wielding swords, snails dueling knights, grotesque faces, animals doing very "un-animal things". Something straight out of a fever dream.

Cast in solid sterling silver, the band is engraved all the way around with playful and surreal medieval marginalia motifs. A dark oxidized finish settles into the deeper engraving, bringing out contrast and texture while keeping the surface slightly worn and ancient, like something that’s survived a few centuries.
