Patchwork drawstring bucket bag / medium or tall size / yarn basket

This fully lined drawstring bucket bag works great for small/medium sized knit or crochet projects. It will hold 2-3 skeins of yarn or 2 yarn cakes. By folding down the rim it can be used as a yarn basket.

I used a variety of different fabrics to make the patchwork piece on the outside of the bag. The top and bottom part are canvas. It has a soft layer of batting inside which gives it enough firmness without being too stiff.

The drawstring is a thick 100% cotton cord that feeds easily through the fabric loops.
It is long enough to be used as a handle.

The bag is round with a diameter of about 7”
The full height is 9 1/2”
Usable height when closed is about 10”
