Exactly as described. The average agate you can expect to find on Lake Superior. Some nice enough to cut but most good for tumbling and casual collecting. I needed an example of what real agates looked like for my family for their first time at Agate Days in Moose Lake this summer. They’re new to rock hounding and needed to see what they can expect to find.
I love this package of Lake Superior agates, the package even came quickly, well packed, and with a personal note, what a neat surprise. To top it off, the package arrived on the same day as I emptied a barrel of the tumbler, so the whole lot just fit nicely in the 3 lb barrel. I am so pleased and excited to see them polished.
