Antique Wedding Photo Wild Bride Head Piece Deco 1920s or earlier NJ

Vintage bridal party wedding photo, ca. 1920s. The bride and her friends and family remain nameless but are immortalized in this wonderful old sepia tinged photo, dressed in their finery. The bride’s head piece is an extravagant confection.

The large photo is in the original deco paper folder: M. Baer Salon, 563 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield, N.J. The photo is just under 8” X 10”. The folder is 11” X 13” when closed.

The photo has detached from the folder but still fits in the opening. There is a corner crease at a top edge and a scrape where the photo was originally glued and has detached. These do not show when the photo is in its proper position. The photo is otherwise clean and crisp. The folder has edge wear and the inner paper matte is detached from photo and back of folder. This is still a sweet glimpse of a bygone day.
