Fiberglass Parchment Sheets for DIY Lamp Shades, Old Stock Fiberglass Lampshade Material

Make your own lamp shades with this off-white fiberglass. This has NO ADHESIVE. I bought out new/old unused stock from a lampshade maker who made shades in the 1970's and 80's. This roll of vinyl coated fiberglass is not bright white anymore as it has aged to be off-white, but it has the same soft diffusing translucency.
Please view all photos as I have shown this material next to the other products I sell so you can see the color. I would also be able to send you a sample piece for a small cost.
Fiberglass has tremendous heat resistance, is very durable and long lasting; it can be left plain or painted, decoupaged, stenciled, printed, splattered or decorated in any number of ways.
Fiberglass is not skin friendly - I advise wearing gloves when you are handling this material because it is irritating to your hands or any part of your body that brushes against it.
The sheets measure 1/2 yard (18" x 48"), one yard (36" x 48" inches) or two yards (72" x 48") and come rolled in a long, narrow shipping box. If you need a different size, please message me.
Many people ask me about combined shipping with lampshade hardware. Hardware cannot be mailed in the same box with this roll of styrene as they each require a different size and shape of box.

Self-adhesive pressure sensitive styrene is available in other listings in my shop. https://www.etsy.com/listing/529292455/lampshade-styrene-diy-adhesive-lampshade

Sorry but I do not estimate yardage or custom cut your pieces for you. You will have to make a pattern and estimate the necessary yardage yourself. I do not sell odd shaped or odd sized pieces. This does not come with instructions. This material is 48" wide.

Please make sure you have a place for USPS to deliver a long box away from the rain or snow. Upon receiving your styrene, take it out of the box right away, unroll it and lay flat.
Please ask questions and be sure this product will work for you. If you would like a sample of this fiberglass, please go here:

A hint for prospective lampshade - makers: Save your old hardback lampshade as that is the pattern for your new shade. Remove the paper, styrene, fiberglass or fabric carefully from the rings or hardware, and save it in one piece for your pattern. Many people contact me about remaking a shade but they have destroyed the old one. Without a pattern, it will be very difficult to estimate the material you need and cut your new shade.
