✦ STICK & STITCH — KUGURI-ZASHI EDITION ✦
Water-soluble sashiko pattern sheet.
Peel, stitch, dissolve — no tracing required.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌WHAT IS STICK & STITCH?

A water-soluble embroidery transfer sheet that takes the
tracing step out of sashiko. Just peel, stick, stitch over
the printed lines, and rinse the sheet away — leaving only
your beautiful stitches behind.

Perfect for sashiko beginners and anyone tired of fighting
chalk, carbon paper, or stencils on dark fabric like denim.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✦ STARTER SET OPTION ✦
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Select "Sheet + Starter Set" from the dropdown to add everything you need to start stitching:

- 1 × Misuya Needle — premium hand-sewing needle from Kyoto (since 1651)
- 1 × Olympus Sashiko Thread, White 20m — 100% cotton, made in Japan
- 3 × Denim Fabric Pieces (approx. 15 × 15 cm) — upcycled, three shades of indigo

Just peel, stick, stitch, and rinse. No other supplies needed.

▌HOW TO USE

i. PEEL & STICK
Peel the backing and place the sheet onto your fabric.
Smooth out any air bubbles.

ii. STITCH THROUGH
Sashiko directly over the printed lines. The needle
passes through both sheet and fabric easily.

iii. DISSOLVE
Rinse with water. The sheet dissolves completely,
leaving only your stitches.

▌ABOUT KUGURI-ZASHI (WOVEN SASHIKO)

Kuguri-zashi — literally "passing through" — is an advanced
sashiko technique that adds a second, woven thread to a base
of stitches. The result is a dimensional, textile-like
pattern with two thread colors interlocking across the
fabric surface.

Traditionally used to symbolize:
· Longevity (tortoise shell motifs)
· Protection (linked crosses)
· Strong bonds and resilience

▌CHOOSE YOUR PATTERN

This listing offers 7 different Kuguri-zashi designs.
Select your favorite from the variations menu:

Each sheet features multiple woven sashiko motifs arranged
on a single A4 page, including:

· Jūji-kuguri (Linked Cross Weave)
· Kikkō-kuguri (Tortoise Shell Weave)
· Ajisai-zashi (Hydrangea)
· Tsuranaru-yamayama (Mountain Range)
... and more classic Kuguri-zashi designs.

▌TIPS FROM THE MAKER

· Press your fabric flat before applying for best adhesion.
· Stitch all the way through the sheet — it won't damage
your needle or thread.
· Use lukewarm water (not hot) for the dissolving step.
· If your design is large, work in sections — the adhesive
stays sticky for the length of a typical project.
· Avoid washing the fabric with detergent until all sheet
residue is fully rinsed away.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌SHIPPING

· Ships from Japan with tracking
· Packed flat in protective envelope to keep the sheet
unbent
· Estimated delivery: see shipping details above

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

▌IMPORTANT NOTES

· This is a PHYSICAL water-soluble sheet, not a digital file.
· Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid humidity before use.
· One-time use — the sheet dissolves during the final rinse.
· Sheet size and design positioning may vary slightly
(±1–2 mm).
· Embroidery thread, needle, and fabric are not included.
