Highlights
This small navy blue bowl was broken, then repaired using a modern Kintsugi method, based on the ancient Japanese art of mending pottery with gold. The gold seams over the deep blue glaze creates a striking, one-of-a-kind piece. The piece is created by hand in my Brooklyn studio, tracing every crack with a proprietary metal blend that creates a gold-effect finish nearly identical to real gold.
A meaningful gift for moments words can’t capture: for grief, a fresh start, recovery, or to honor someone’s strength through hard times as a reminder of the beauty in imperfection and our ability to to heal and transform.
Photos don't do it justice, you'll see.
Dimensions: 3” x 1.5”
Please note:
Each piece is one of a kind and will vary depending on the cracks.
Not food safe, for display only.
If cleaning is required you can use a damp soft cloth applied gently without scrubbing.
