The Ripe Plum glaze consists of shades of dark and dusky purples with overtones of light blue. The color purple is said to symbolize spirituality, creativity and royalty.

Pam created the distinctive textured accent collar by carving each divot individually. She applied her Ripe Plum glaze to the mug one brush stroke at a time.

Although it adds time and labor, during the second firing the mug was fired on stilts, which allowed her to wrap the glaze over the foot. Glazing the foot makes it smooth, helping protect your table from scratches.

All mugs are individually created; there are no duplicates!
