Campaign Launch Kit is an AI skill for Claude and ChatGPT, made for marketers. Message hierarchy, a T-minus calendar with every date consistent, the email sequence, a channel plan capped to your real team, and a KPI sheet where every assumption is labeled. Plus the section that reads most senior: what we're NOT doing, and the arithmetic that decided it.

Instant download. Works on the free tier. No coding. A launch is a calendar, not an announcement.

WHAT IS AN AI SKILL?
Think of it as a trained assistant you add to Claude or ChatGPT. It is a small folder of files: the step-by-step method the AI must follow, the templates it fills in, the checks it runs on itself, and a worked example. You load it once (about a minute), then talk to the AI in plain English the way you would brief a colleague. Instead of a generic chat answer, you get the finished piece of work as a real file you can print, send or open in Excel. No coding, no software to install, nothing to configure. It runs inside your own Claude or ChatGPT account.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
The date arrives. Somebody writes a post, somebody else sends an email, the founder shares it to their followers, and by Thursday it's over. Nobody is quite sure whether it worked, because nobody wrote down what working would look like.

Real launches are sequenced weeks out: teaser, announce, proof, last call, nurture. Every date consistent, every claim carrying proof, every KPI traceable to a labelled assumption, and a capacity check that stops a team of two from planning nine channels.

ABOUT THE EXAMPLES BELOW
The figures and names come from the built-in demo: Priya Shah, marketer at a Toronto bookkeeping software company, with a real GA4 export. Type "demo" after setup and you watch the same run happen in front of you before you type a single real number.

WHAT IT DOES (6 JOBS, ONE SKILL)
1. Build the plan
Message hierarchy, a channel plan capped to the hands you actually have, a T-minus calendar where every date agrees with its label, the email sequence with A/B subjects, and a KPI sheet where every assumption is labelled.

2. Price the budget
The viable-test floor for one paid channel, plus the asset plan item by item, plus contingency at 15%. Paid enters the plan only when the budget covers all three, and the tier you land in decides the rest.

3. Pick the launch shape
Five archetypes, each breaking a different default: a service launch goes to past clients first and stops at bookable capacity, a DTC drop gets the discount-margin check, a self-serve SaaS launch targets activations rather than signups, an event front-loads reminders.

4. Check the market first
Before a single date is written: dead-zone weeks for your audience's market, subject lines re-written natively rather than translated, and which consent regime your list sits under, with the consented list size feeding the KPI sheet.

5. Write the launch-day runbook
Hour by hour: link and UTM checks, send schedule, monitoring passes, an if-something-breaks table, and the backup subject line chosen before the adrenaline hits.

6. Run the retro
Two weeks after: actual against target, which assumption broke, which subject lever won. Then the rates it measured go into your profile, dated, so the next launch opens with your numbers instead of directional ones.

WHAT YOU GET
• T-minus calendar from teaser to post-launch
• Email sequence with A/B subjects per send
• What your budget actually buys, computed — and the break-even beside your target

Move the launch day and the whole calendar recomputes rather than quietly contradicting itself:
• The T-minus calendar, teaser through post-launch nurture
• The email sequence, two A/B subjects per send
• The KPI sheet, every assumption labelled, with the break-even beside it
• The launch-day runbook, hour by hour
• Landing-page hero copy and the partner brief, paste-ready

YOUR FIRST FIVE MINUTES (copy-paste any of these)
› We're launching [thing] on [date]. Budget [X]. Build the plan.
› We have [X] to spend. Can we afford a paid channel?
› Runway check: is 3 weeks enough for this?
› Build the launch-day runbook.
› demo — watch a full launch plan get built.

HOW TO SET IT UP (about a minute)
1. Download the zip and unzip it. Inside: a START-HERE file, INSTALL steps for Claude, and CHATGPT-SETUP for ChatGPT.
2. Claude app: Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill (or add the files to a Project). Claude Code: drop the folder into ~/.claude/skills/. ChatGPT: follow CHATGPT-SETUP (copy-paste, about two minutes).
3. Type "demo" to watch the skill run on a built-in example. Then give it your own details in plain English.

WHO MADE THIS
The Skill Mastery builds AI skills for working professionals: photographers, filmmakers, creators, marketers and sales teams. We don't start from what AI can do. We start from how the job is actually done, the methods the trade already trusts (here: extraction-first repurposing, T-minus launch calendars and cost-per-result reporting), the numbers that have to be right, and the mistakes that cost real money. Then we engineer the skill so the AI follows those rules every single time, and we test it the way a buyer would use it: on the built-in demo, on a cold scenario it has never seen, and in a currency other than our own. Every skill ships with a demo mode, a self-check, and a plain list of what it can't do.

WHY NOT JUST ASK THE CHATBOT?
• The budget question gets arithmetic. “The floor for one paid channel is $3,000, the assets this launch needs cost $5,000, contingency is $1,000. That's $9,000 against a $6,000 budget.” Paid is out, and it reads as a decision rather than a shortage.

• It asks whether the launch pays for itself. Total launch cost against the midpoint of the target range gives $200 per incremental demo request in the demo. Where the figure to compare it against is missing, it names that figure and leaves the comparison open instead of producing a plausible one.

• Launch three starts from launch one. The retro writes your measured open rate, click rate and audience overlap into your profile with the date attached. The next KPI sheet tags those rows as measured from your last launch, not as directional estimates.

WHAT IT WON'T DO (read this before buying)
• It plans and writes the launch. Sending the emails, scheduling the posts and buying the ads stays in your own tools.
• KPI targets are arithmetic from labelled assumptions, not forecasts. It also can't create audience you don't have: where your pre-launch reach is thin it reshapes the runway and says so.
• The dead-zone dates and consent regimes are a practical checklist against the obvious mistakes, not legal advice, and the plan says that on the page.

FAQ
Q: How is this different from just asking Claude or ChatGPT?
A: A chatbot writes you a launch checklist. This builds a dated T-minus calendar where every date agrees with its label, computes what your budget can buy before recommending a channel, caps your channels to your real team capacity with the reasoning stated, labels every KPI assumption including audience overlap, and writes the runbook for the day itself.

Q: How does it decide whether we can afford paid ads?
A: With three numbers you can check yourself: the viable-test floor for one paid channel, your asset plan priced item by item, and contingency at 15% of the budget. Paid enters the plan only if the budget covers all three. Surplus goes deeper into that one channel rather than into a second channel below its floor.

Q: We're not launching software. Does it still fit?
A: Yes. It picks from five launch shapes: a product or feature, a service business's new offer or location, a DTC drop, a self-serve signup launch, and an event. It says which default each one changed. A service launch sends to past clients before strangers and caps its target at the work you can actually deliver.

Q: Does it handle the post-launch review?
A: Yes, as retro mode about two weeks after. Five questions, a verdict on each assumption, delivered as a file rather than a chat thread that scrolls away. The rates it measured are written into your profile so the next launch plans from your own numbers instead of generic ones.

Q: Is it a subscription?
A: No. A one-time purchase, yours to keep, updates included.

Q: Do I need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan?
A: No. The free tiers run it. Paid plans give you longer sessions and stronger models, which is nicer but not required.

Q: Claude or ChatGPT: which should I use?
A: Both are included and both work. Claude gives the fuller experience because skills upload directly; ChatGPT setup is a two-minute copy-paste from the included CHATGPT-SETUP file.

Q: Do I need to know how to code?
A: No. You type in plain English. Setup is upload-a-file, and every step is written out for non-technical people.

Q: Does it work outside the US, in my currency?
A: Yes. It works in your currency, your date format and your market. It never converts or invents exchange rates.

Q: Can I use it for client work?
A: Yes. One purchase is a perpetual single-user licence; everything it produces is yours to use, unrestricted, for your own business or your clients. You just can't resell or share the skill files themselves.

Q: Is my data private?
A: It runs entirely inside your own Claude or ChatGPT account. We never see your numbers, clients or files.

Q: Can I use it on my phone?
A: Set it up once on a computer; after that it works from the Claude and ChatGPT phone apps too.

Q: Do I get updates?
A: Yes, free updates to this version. If a new version ships, message us on Etsy for the update.

Q: What if it doesn't work for me?
A: Digital files can't be returned on Etsy, but message us and we'll make it right, whether that's a fix, a walkthrough or a refund. A real person replies.
