These are a new version of my tardigrade earrings that are >20% lighter than the old ones. The ear-hook swivels in a way that the old version does not, so I am listing them as experimental, and selling them at a reduced price in the hope that some of my customers will provide feedback.

The undersides of these tardigrades are hollowed out, but they should otherwise look identical to the old version. If I receive good feedback from buyers of these earrings, they will become the new, standard design, and the original version will go on sale as discontinued remnants.

The redoubtable (and adorable) tardigrades are critters which are famous for their ability to cling to life in adverse conditions... and now they can cling to your earlobes! My Tardigrade earrings have an integrated ear hook which positions them so that they appear to grip your ear with their hindmost set of feet.

Tardigrades (Phylum Tardigrada), also known as waterbears and moss piglets, are an ancient lineage whose exact relationship to arthropods and other animals remains a mystery. They are found in a wide variety of ecosystems, from deep ocean trenches, to the tallest mountains, and at all latitudes! They are able to resist extreme heat and cold, dehydration, pressure, radiation, and most amazingly, the vacuum of outer space!

Ear hooks are hypoallergenic Surgical Stainless Steel.
