This stunning layering accessory is a one-of-a-kind piece inspired by a soft summery beach vibe color palette. Featuring fingering weight hand-dyed yarn, The Seashell Fade Wrap is an engaging project that uses basic stitches like single crochet and double crochet to create an easy ripple stitch.

The wrap is crocheted from the short side in turned rows to increase length. The pattern features five one-of-a-kind colorways in color block sections with easy repeating rows. Color blocks are alternated throughout the wrap in eight row repeats, after working the first double crochet row as foundation. The specific amount of yarn used for each color, per gauge, is indicated in the materials section by grams. I used five individual colorways for the finished sample, but any number of colorways can be used as this is a great project for using up yarn scraps. If you are using partial skeins, make sure to weigh your skeins first to ensure you have enough yarn for each color block section.

Fingering weight yarn is featured for the finished wrap, but the stitch repeat is indicated in the pattern so you can customize the width and length of your wrap if you want to use a different weight yarn.

The featured wrap is made with #1/Fingering Weight Yarn, approximately 378 grams used in five colorways, and uses a US size G/6 4.5 mm crochet hook. Featured yarn:
