One large stocking pieced from red, green, cream and navy calico with a white fur cuff, hanging from a wooden peg. An original design made for this chart, drawn stitch by stitch.

WHAT YOU GET
A PDF chart and a short how-to-stitch video, ready the moment you check out:
A full chart page sized for zooming on a phone or tablet
A one sheet overview you can print for planning
Full size chart sheets that print on US letter and A4, with a repeated overlap row so taped pages line up
A large print black and white chart, symbols only with bigger squares, easy to read and easy on printer ink
A backstitch overlay, the outlines alone on a bare grid, for working the lines last
A floss legend with DMC codes, stitch counts and skein estimates for every fabric count
Yours to stitch as often as you like, and to sell what you finish
A 1080p video companion that builds the design one floss at a time, naming each color as it goes, with the backstitch and finishing steps

PATTERN DETAILS
Difficulty: intermediate, a couple of weeks of evenings. Whole stitches and backstitch only: no fractional stitches, no French knots, no metallics, and solid colors throughout, no blended threads

19 DMC colors, plus optional backstitch outlines and detail lines on their own legend row
Strands: two for the cross stitches on 14 count, three for fuller coverage; backstitch in DMC 310, one strand, or two for a heavier line
Bold grid lines every 10 stitches, red center lines and center arrows on every sheet
Pictured on cream 14 count Aida. Any similar light fabric keeps the palette reading as charted

GOOD TO KNOW
This is a digital pattern, not a finished item and not fabric or floss. Nothing ships.
Photos show a visualization of the finished design. Screens and photos only approximate floss; the DMC codes in the chart are the ground truth.
Made with AI assistance: the source artwork and the listing photos were generated with AI tools. The chart itself, the floss palette, the symbols, the backstitch and every page of the PDF were built and checked by my own software and reviewed by me. Designed by a seller.
Because it is a digital file, it cannot be returned. If a download gives you trouble, message me and I will sort it out.
Personal use chart: print as many working copies as you need. Please do not resell or share the PDF itself.
If anything in the chart is unclear, send me a message and I will help.
