Fish Tank turns your chat into a cozy aquarium. The first time a viewer chats, a one-of-a-kind fish swims in wearing their name, and it comes back every time they return. Feed the tank, wave hello, redeem channel points and celebrate alerts together. Setup is easy: open the included START HERE guide and copy four files into StreamElements. No coding needed.

✨ A whole aquarium for your community
• Each viewer gets a fish when they chat, or joins with !fish if you choose command-only entry.
• Returning viewers keep the same fish when you use the same save slot.
• !feed drops food into the tank; !wave sends a greeting; !fish opens the viewer’s fish card. Feeding helps fish grow.
• Fish react to hello, lol, aww, wow, gg and sleepy messages with six little reactions.
• Optional chat bubbles show messages and native emotes supplied by your chat connection.
• Subscriber, VIP and moderator hats reflect the role information your connection provides.

🌈 No two fish alike
12 fish shapes, including clownfish, rays, seahorses, pufferfish and axolotls, 24 bright colour palettes, different eye styles and markings. Thousands of possible fish, so every viewer’s fish feels like theirs.

🫧 Fish that feel alive
Fish swim with wiggling tails, gulp their snacks, blow bubbles, yawn, nap, nibble the sand, play little games of tag and swim over to greet newcomers.

🎟️ Twitch channel point rewards
Let viewers redeem a snack, a feast, a wave, a fish card or a little reaction, and their fish shows a small bubble so everyone sees the reward land. Use titles like “Feed the reef” and “Dance party”, or assign your own reward names in START HERE.

Choose chat commands, channel points, or both for feeding and waving. !fish remains available for joining. Create the rewards and set their costs and limits on Twitch. Your connected service must forward redemption events to the widget; test a real redemption before going live.

Each habitat includes its own water colours and scenery. Resize the tank for a wide or portrait space beside your gameplay or chatting scene. The aquarium background is included; this is not a transparent fish-only overlay.

👑 Choose your streamer fish
Pick a Pearl Empress, Royal Seahorse or Pearl Ray, then choose from 8 colours and 7 headpieces. The Customise tab in START HERE shows your host fish live as you pick, so you see the combination before copying it into your stream.

🎉 Matching stream celebrations
Celebrate follows, subscriptions, gifted subs, cheers, tips and raids. Named subscription gifts can send a gift bubble to the recipient. Celebrations and the optional gentle chime can be switched off.

🛠️ Make it fit your stream
The StreamElements panel includes 25 controls, including two preview buttons:
• Preview sample residents and feeding, or the next celebration.
• Choose the habitat, fish size and visible fish limit, up to 40.
• Show or hide names, speech bubbles and the glass frame.
• Choose natural, extra calm or low-power movement.
• Enable the host, set the streamer username and choose the host’s form, colour and headpiece.
• Choose who gets a fish, rename feed/fish/wave commands and set the feeding cooldown.
• Choose when quiet fish leave, the chat inactivity timeout and the departure style.
• Turn keyword reactions, celebrations and sound on or off.
• Choose a save slot and an optional legacy Kick channel connection.

The guide also lets you choose role accessory visibility and configure your channel point assignments. Keep “Include my customisations in FIELDS” switched on to carry those choices into your install.

No coding knowledge or widget subscription is required. Download and unzip the files on a desktop or laptop. You receive the complete widget, not a video loop or a set of static pictures.

🚀 How to install
1. Open START-HERE.html in your browser and try the practice tank.
2. Create a Custom Widget in StreamElements. Copy the guide’s HTML, CSS, JS and FIELDS into the matching tabs, then save.
3. Add the overlay URL as a Browser Source in OBS Studio, Streamlabs or compatible streaming software.
4. Test your real chat, events and rewards before going live.

Practice fish stay in the guide. A fresh live tank starts with your enabled host, then fills as real viewers join. Saved real viewers can return from your existing save slot.

🔌 Requirements and connections
• A StreamElements account and streaming software with Browser Source support.
• Twitch and YouTube use messages and events provided by the connected StreamElements account. A separate YouTube chat poller is not included.
• Kick can use native messages or the optional legacy channel-name connector, which depends on Kick’s services.
• TikTok needs a compatible bridge sending supported events. A bridge is not included.
• Native emote images must arrive with chat events. No 7TV, BetterTTV or FrankerFaceZ set fetching is included.

💡 Good to know
This is a chat-driven aquarium, not a fishing game or a live viewer-count tracker. Quiet fish can leave after chat inactivity; the widget cannot detect someone leaving your stream. Fish appearances save through StreamElements. Keep the same save slot when updating and use one active overlay writer for that slot.

The optional chime depends on browser audio permissions and your streaming software’s audio settings. Demo viewers and example emotes shown in the media illustrate the features and are not an extra asset pack. This is a digital item; nothing physical will be shipped.
