Unlike a static planner, Unstick guides you through a short, three-to-eight-minute browser session and helps you find one physical action you can actually begin.

WHY UNSTICK IS DIFFERENT

THREE WAYS TO BEGIN

- I am stuck on one thing
- I have too much to sort
- Write everything down first

SORT AN OVERWHELMING LIST

Write down everything competing for your attention, then decide what happens to each item:
- Today
- Externally time-bound
- Not today
- Let go

After three items are chosen for Today, Unstick asks whether all three realistically belong there.

If choosing feels impossible, select "I cannot choose" and Unstick will safely place the item in Not today. It will never decide that something belongs in Today for you.

Every sorting decision can be undone.

FIND WHAT IS MAKING THE TASK HARD

Unstick helps you identify whether the task is:
- Too big to begin
- Blocked by something in the way
- Missing information
- Unclear because you do not know what to do

It also recognizes emotional and activation barriers, including dread, shame, boredom, resentment, distraction, and low energy.

BREAK IT DOWN WITHOUT CREATING ANOTHER PROJECT

Break the task into no more than three physical pieces. The limit is intentional, so planning does not become another overwhelming task.

If breaking it down is still difficult, Unstick can create a ready-made prompt for you to copy into ChatGPT or another AI tool. Nothing is sent automatically, and no AI account or service is included.

CHOOSE ONE FIRST MOVE

Select the first physical action and edit it until it feels realistic.

You can also choose a setup step, such as:
- Move to another room
- Put your phone out of reach
- Ask someone to sit nearby
- Prepare what you need before beginning

START YOUR WAY

Choose a two-minute starting timer, or begin without one. The timer keeps running if you switch tabs or lock your phone, and you can stop whenever you need.

HONEST OUTCOMES

Record what actually happened:
- Started
- Paused partway
- Did not start

All three are treated as real answers, without scoring or judgment.

WORK WITH RESISTANCE MID-SESSION

From the breakdown onward, choose "Something else is getting in the way" whenever a new barrier surfaces. Name what came up and get a lower-pressure way around that specific resistance.

"Back to where I was" returns you to the exact screen you left, with your answers intact.

PARK DISTRACTING THOUGHTS

If something unrelated comes to mind, write it down and continue without losing your place.

SUPPORT WHEN YOU WANT IT

Support notes are off by default. Turn them on for a brief explanation of why a particular moment may feel difficult, or leave them off for less on screen.

RETURN TO AN UNFINISHED SESSION

Close the tab partway through and Unstick will offer to continue where you stopped, on the same browser and device. You can also start again with the same list while clearing the previous decisions.

TAKE YOUR RESULT WITH YOU

At the end of a session, you can:
- See your next action
- See the larger task it belongs to
- Copy the full summary
- Save or print the summary as a PDF
- Clear the completed session when you are ready

PRIVACY AND STORAGE
