Highlights

A one-of-a-kind story about your grandchild's best day with their grandparent. Every page is illustrated with characters made to look like your family, and the story uses your names all the way through. It isn't tied to a holiday, so it makes a gift any time of year: birthdays, Grandparents Day, a first sleepover, or just because.

★ WHAT YOU PERSONALIZE
• Child's name and he/she/they
• What the child calls their grandparent (Nana, Pop, Abuela, Grandpa Joe, Gigi, anything)
• Grandparent's he/she/they
• Skin tone, hair color and hairstyle for both (photos 4 and 5)
• Glasses, beard, smile lines (optional)
• Your town name (optional)
• Family dog or cat, with name and coat color (optional, photo 6)
• A dedication message in your own words

★ WHAT'S INSIDE (24 pages)
• Title page and "This book belongs to" page
• Your dedication and a "Meet the family" page
• A 14-page story: waking up excited, arriving at the grandparent's house, planting a garden, the playground, a day at the beach, a picnic, the zoo, a bike ride, baking cookies, fishing, the porch at sunset, bedtime, saying goodbye, and a heartfelt ending
• Keepsake pages to fill in by hand: "Things we love to do together," the grandparent's secret cookie recipe, a "Next time at your house" list, a photo page, and a note from the grandparent
• A "Made with love" closing page
