How do I download my files?

After payment, go to You > Purchases and reviews on etsy.com and click "Download files" next to your order (in the Etsy app: open the order under Purchases). Etsy also emails you a download link. Files download best on a computer.

What paper size do I need?

Escape rooms come as two PDFs: US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) and A4. Cross-stitch patterns are US Letter; on A4 just choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog. Any home printer works.

Print at 100% / "Actual size" so cut-out pieces and chart grids stay the right size. Plain paper is fine; card stock is nice for escape-room hint cards and the certificate. Black & white works for the escape rooms' puzzles and the cross-stitch symbol charts; colour is nicer for covers and colour charts. Some puzzles need scissors.

What photo should I send for a custom pet pattern?

An original photo from your phone or camera (not a screenshot), at least 1000 pixels on the short side, sharp focus on the eyes, good daylight, one pet filling most of the frame. Only photos you took yourself. We don't chart human faces, logos, cartoon characters or artwork.

Can I use the escape rooms in my classroom or share the files?

Each purchase covers one household or one classroom (the office edition covers one office or team). Please don't share or resell the files. Running an event for several groups? Message us about a larger licence.

Can I sell what I stitch?

Yes, you're welcome to sell or gift the pieces you stitch from our patterns. Please don't share or resell the PDF pattern itself.

Find the Killer fall murder mystery puzzle: a harvest fair name elimination detective game with 3,000 suspects and 14 clues.
The head judge of the Giant Pumpkin contest is found in the prize barn, and her scorecard is gone. 3,000 visitors went through the gate. 14 clues. Find the killer before the pumpkins go soft.

HOW IT WORKS: Every clue describes the killer. Cross out everyone in the register who doesn't fit. Apply all the clues and exactly one name is left. Every case has exactly one answer, and every clue matters.

WHAT YOU GET: case file PDF in US Letter and A4 (illustrated cover, a friendly how-to from Detective Tofu with a tiny worked example, the story with a map of the scene, who's who, every clue with a witness quote, the full register with a clue tracker and a box to mark on every row, verdict page and a certificate) + a separate solution PDF (the killer, what really happened, and how many people each clue rules out), so you can't spoil it by accident.

DETAILS: solo or for two; 5-8 hours over several sittings (see each case); print at home (black and white is fine) or solve on a tablet with any PDF pen app. Personal use in one household; please don't share or resell.

Every case is test-solved before it goes in the shop.
