Log every gift, total the cash, and see which thank-you notes are overdue, then apply the cash to what you still owe.

WHAT YOU GET
- Wedding Gift and Cash Ledger (.xlsx), 1 tab: Gift Ledger
- 200 gift rows: Guest or household, Gift type (Cash, Check, Gift card, Registry item, Other), Cash value, Description, Received date, Thank-you (Sent), Sent on date and Notes, with Days waiting worked out for you
- A summary that counts gifts logged, totals cash and checks, totals gift cards on their own line, counts registry and other gifts, and shows how many thank-yous are still to send and how many are past your target
- Three settings at the top: Send thank-yous within (days), starting at 14; What the wedding cost; Balances still owed to vendors. The last two are optional and show the share of the wedding the cash and checks cover and what you still owe after applying them
- An 8-row vendor thank-you card list, with the 1 to 2 week timing from weddingtipcalculator.com's guide to thanking vendors
- Open this in Google Sheets.pdf, a one-page import guide

HOW IT WORKS
1. Log each gift as it arrives: who it is from, the gift type, the cash value, what it was and the date it came.
2. Cash and checks total themselves; gift cards total on their own line because they cannot pay a vendor. Days waiting counts up until you set Thank-you to Sent; the row turns rose past your target and green once Sent.
3. Type what the wedding cost and what you still owe vendors, and the summary shows the share the cash and checks cover and what is left to pay after applying them.

WORKS IN EXCEL AND GOOGLE SHEETS
Opens straight into Microsoft Excel (2016 or later, Windows or Mac). No setup, no macros. For Google Sheets, upload the file to Google Drive, open it and choose File > Save as Google Sheets; formulas, colors and dropdowns carry over. A one-page guide is included. Prefer a ready-made Google Sheets copy? Message us with your order number and we will send you a private link.

WHO IT'S FOR
Couples opening cards after the shower and the wedding who want one list of who gave what, a count of the thank-you notes still to write, and a straight answer on how far the cash goes.

HOW YOU RECEIVE IT
Instant digital download. As soon as payment clears, Etsy emails you a download link and the files also appear under Purchases and Reviews in your Etsy account. Download on a computer or in a phone browser; the Etsy app itself cannot save files. Nothing ships.

PLEASE NOTE
- This is a spreadsheet template, not financial or legal advice. Figures are planning guidance, not a quote from any vendor.
- Personal use only. Please do not resell, share or redistribute the files.
- Colors can vary slightly between Excel, Google Sheets and your screen.
