Meet Penny, our goldendoodle! Twinkle lights, jingle bells and a big green tree. Christmas is coming, and Penny can hardly wait. "Is it Christmas yet?" she asks at breakfast, at lunch and at dinner.

So Mama makes a bedtime countdown with seven stars. Every night at bedtime, Penny colors one star. In between, she stays busy baking cookies, making cards and wrapping a very lumpy present for Mama. On Christmas Eve, she colors the very last star, takes a flower breath and falls asleep. Waiting makes Christmas morning feel even more special.
